Abstract

This paper describes the operation of a simple spectrometric imager. The device analyzes radiation from an object into sixty-three spatial and fifteen spectral resolution elements. It can provide a fifteen-color spectrum for each point on the object, or alternately a series of fifteen pictures, each obtained at a different set of wavelengths.
