Abstract

During these last years, fairly extensive research has been performed on the study of dispersion in the infrared. In the present paper an account is given of the work carried out in the Laboratoire des Recherches Physiques and of the results recently obtained in the case of transparent substances by the method of the prism at minimum deviation and critical angle refractometry, and also for the case of absorbing substances by reflection methods. We have improved existing devices and evolved new techniques.
