Influences of the Turbulence Parameterizations on Atmospheric Refractivity Simulation and Forecasting

Abstract

We report new findings that indicate that the mesoscale simulation and forecasting of atmospheric refractivity are very sensitive to the planetary boundary layer (PBL) scheme, one of the most important physical parameterizations.
