Spherical Wave Source Models and Simulation through von Karman Turbulence

Abstract

Different “point” models are investigated for spherical wave simulations through von Karman turbulence. The scintillation index is found to be sensitive to the source model and the inner scale. The Fried parameter is sensitive to the outer scale.
