Fiber integrated Ytterbium single frequency amplifier with a measured fundamental mode power content of 91% at 215 W

Abstract

The fiber amplifier system, using a large mode area fiber, combines all-fiber counter-pumping with an excellent beam quality. A fundamental mode power content of at least 97% up to 120 W and 91% at 215 W was measured.
