Recent Advances in Soft-Glass Photonic Crystal Fibres

Abstract

We report recent progress in the development of lead-silicate and fluoride-glass photonic crystal fibres. Our improved drawing technique enables the fabrication of both solid- and hollow-core fibres with unprecedented uniformity.
