Abstract

The Vertical Fusional Limits were studied for foveal stimuli for 40 cm fixation distance and for various positions in the field of vision as a function of gap between the requisite horizontal vergence and the applied vergence. It is there appears to be a variation in the VFL according to vergence horizontale gap and the required horizontal convergence. This link between the VFL and vergence gaps appears to vary slightly with the direction of sight.
