Investigation of Complex Relaxation Dynamics of Nearly Degenerated Rydberg States in Acetone

Abstract

By combining time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy with surface-hopping simulations we disentangle for the first time the ultrafast population transfer between the closely spaced and strongly coupled n3p Rydberg states of acetone.
