Abstract

Ultrafast dynamics of 2′-hydroxychalcone are observed by femtosecond spectroscopy using deep ultraviolet pump (11 fs) and visible broadband probe lasers. Dynamics of internal conversions from S3, proton transfer and internal rotation at S1 are determined.
