A 1-kHz-repetition-rate 100-fs CEP-stable Mid-IR Parametric Amplifier Tunable across the Mid-IR Fingerprint Region

Abstract

We report a novel source for mid-IR nonlinear spectroscopy in the molecular fingerprint spectral range based on a white-light-seeded ZnGeP2 OPA tunable in the 3-4.2 µm (signal) and 4.2-7 µm (idler) range and pumped by a 1-ps 2090-nm Ho:YAG laser.
