Ionization of Aligned O2 by Intense Laser Pulse

Abstract

Intense field ionization of aligned O2 is investigated by a pump-probe method. The different behavior of O2+ and O22+ yields against a pump-probe delay is ascribed to the angular dependence of the ionization probability.
