Abstract

Vibrational frequency fluctuation of NO stretch of [RuCl5(NO)]2− in water was studied by two-dimensional infrared spectroscopy. Observed temperature dependence provides evidence that collective dynamics of hydrogen bonding network controls the time scale of frequency fluctuation.
