Few-femtosecond Time-domain Optical Response Function Reconstruction of a Plasmonic Nanostructure

Abstract

Femtosecond plasmonic response function of individual metallic nanostructures is obtained with precise phase and amplitude from second-harmonic correlation measurement and spectrogram analysis. Dephasing rate of τ = 20 fs at the Drude limit is obtained.
