Protein structure determination in complex environments using 2D IR spectroscopy

Abstract

We apply isotope labelling, molecular dynamics simulations and 2D IR spectroscopy to the membrane bound antibiotic peptide ovispirin. From the 2D lineshapes, we ascertained the peptide secondary structure and orientation in the bilayer.
