A Peptide Capping Layer over Gold Nanoparticle

Abstract

We study gold nanoparticles capped with a layer of helical peptides. Energy transport through the peptides is initiated by exciting the plasmon resonance. 2D-IR spectroscopy is used to gain structural information about the capping layer.
