Abstract

We studied vibrational structures of the metal-to-ligand-charge-transfer state of Cu(I)-diimine complexes through wavepacket motions generated impulsively at various delay-times. The obtained “instantaneous” Raman data provided firm vibrational evidences for ultrafast nature of the flattening distortion.
