Abstract

Directional electron generation asymmetry is measured using incommensurate-frequency multicolor pulses that are carrier-envelope-phase-locked. The demonstrated Yb-laser-pumped OPA technology produces a shot-to-shot-stable femtosecond field combining three carrier frequencies that can be set to an arbitrary ratio.
