Localizing few-cycle light pulses in space and time in random dielectric media

Abstract

We directly visualize, for the first time, the weak localization of light in both space and time in a disordered array of ZnO nanoneedles using a novel diffraction-limited second-harmonic microscope with few-cycle time resolution.
