Terahertz radiation from multiplexed photo-Dember currents

Abstract

We investigate a novel method to generate intense THz radiation by multiplexing coherent photo-Dember currents in a lateral geometry. These THz emitters are passive devices with a peak frequency at about 1.5 THz.
