Ultrafast Photochemistry of Mercury Dithizonates

Abstract

We investigate the photoreaction of mercury dithizonate, and find an ultrafast radiationless reaction into the syn and anti configuration with almost equal probability, which is interpreted by a conical intersection between excited and ground state.
