One Dimensional Exciton Diffusion in J-Aggregates

Abstract

The annihilation dynamics of excitons in J-aggregates of substituted perylene bisimides is investigated by femtosecond absorption spectroscopy. The comparison with models shows that the excitons are only mobile along one dimension.
