Abstract
Spatially localized ultrashort light pulse is applied to enhance nonlinear frequency conversion in a resonantly absorbing Bragg reflector. This externally excited gap soliton is shown to experience negative refraction and super-focusing, resulting in spatial-temporal soliton.
