Realization and characterization of an all-fiber temporal differentiator for sub-picosecond optical waveforms

Abstract

A newly-developed all-fiber ultrafast differentiator is fully characterized using a simple and robust fiber optics-based spectral interferometry. The results confirm the reliability of this device for differentiating arbitrary optical signals with sub-picosecond temporal features.
