Optimal control of molecular alignment with the feedback of ion images

Abstract

We optimally controlled molecular alignment of N2 in the nonadiabatic region with the feedback of ion images. Doubly-peaked pulses were obtained as optimum pulses. Advantages of double peaks were investigated by both experiments and simulations.
