Abstract

Femtosecond two-pulse photon echo signals of excitons from a chiral porphyrin dimer are simulated using the cumulant expansion method. Off-diagonal peaks are amplified and resolved, and diagonal peaks are suppressed by using coherent control with adaptive polarization pulse shaping combined with a genetic algorithm.
