Molecular state reconstruction using nonlinear wave packet interferometry

Abstract

We investigate reconstruction of optically prepared vibrational wave packets using nonlinear wave packet interferometry. Simulated results for a model photodissociative diatomic demonstrate the technique’s effectiveness in identifying dynamics induced by shaped laser pulses.
