Phase-driven strong-field processes in the multi-optical-cycle regime

Abstract

For the first time we show, both experimentally and theoretically, that the strong-field processes involved in high-order harmonic generation are significantly affected by the pulse carrier-envelope phase even in the multi-optical-cycle regime.
