Bimodal Water Dynamics at the Surface of Micelles and Proteins

Abstract

Dynamics of interfacial water molecules at the surface of aqueous micelles and proteins have been investigated using large-scale atomistic molecular dynamics simulations. We observe a ”universal” bimodal dynamics, in agreement with recent solvation dynamics experiments.
