Abstract
Approximately 100 femtosecond pulses centered at 690nm and 1000nm are produced by compressing sections of the ultrabroadband supercontinuum generated in a tapered fiber injected with pulses from a cavity dumped Titanium:sapphire laser. Biological and chemical applications are discussed.
