Photo-Isomerization of Small Molecules in Solution: Studies of ICN(aq) and NO3(aq)

Abstract

Photo-isomerization of aqueous nitrate and aqueous iodine cyanide is studied by transient absorption spectroscopy covering the spectral range 194–700 nm. ONOO and INC are formed in 1 ps and < 0.5 ps, respectively.
