Polarizations of Raman sidebands generated in impulsively stimulated rotational Raman scattering

Abstract

Polarizations of high-order rotational Raman radiations are investigated via impulsively stimulated Raman scattering in hydrogen gas. Those polarizations are strongly dependent on the ellipticity of the polarization of a pump laser pulse.
