Abstract

Determining the temporal profile of single attosecond X-ray pulses is a challenging experimental problem, mostly because the peak intensity of these pulses is not high enough to efficiently induce non-linear effects. This is also a major obstacle for pump-probe experiments with attosecond pulses.
