Terahertz impulse ranging measurement of surface wave radiation on cylinders

Abstract

Variable angle impulse ranging has permitted the first direct measurement of the surface wave radiation at terahertz frequencies independent of coupling mechanisms. Comparisons are made with Singularity Expansion Method results. Applications include novel imaging and nondestructive evaluation.
