Carrier envelope offset phase stabilization for few-cycle nonlinear optics

Abstract

We report methods for the measurement and stabilization of the relative phase between carrier and envelope of an ultrashort optical pulse, based on sum frequency generation and heterodyning of a modelocked laser spectrum with optical transfer oscillators.
