Optical Oximetry of Volume-Oscillating Vascular Compartments at any Frequency

Abstract

We describe a quantitative analysis of diffuse optical measurements of time-varying vascular compartments. A method is presented to translate oscillatory signals at any frequency into the oxygen saturation of the volume-oscillating compartment.
