Quantification of effective absorption perturbations for Time-Resolved Diffuse Optical Tomography with totally absorbing objects

Abstract

We evaluate the ability of time-resolved diffuse optical tomography to quantify the absorption coefficient of deep objects in turbid media. Phantom experimental results with totally absorbing objects show good quantification up to 0.4 cm−1.
