Novel THz-wave Gas-sensing System Based on Frequency-tunable Source

Abstract

Terahertz-wave security screening system has been developed by using an injection-seeded terahertz-wave parametric generator with intense-power and narrowband emission. Methanol gas in atmosphere as a phantom was measured within one second without dismpting foot traffic.
