Whispering-Gallery-Mode Temperature Sensing with Flying Dye-Doped Particle in Hollow-Core PCF

Abstract

We demonstrate distributed thermal sensing using the temperature-induced wavelength shift of the lasing modes of a dye-doped microparticle optically trapped and propelled inside a liquid-filled hollow-core photonic crystal fiber.
