Design and construction of broadband THz quarter wave plate

Abstract

We report on the design and construction of a broadband quarter wave plate for use with time domain terahertz spectroscopy. We use the principle of a Fresnel rhomb for its construction, and will report on tests that demonstrate its performance in polarization sensitive measurements.
