Solar molten salt temperature monitoring with fiber optic sensors

Abstract

In this paper a novel solar molten salt (SMS) temperature fiber optic sensor is presented. This sensor, based on smart packaging and FBGs, withstands the corrosion and high temperatures (550°C) of SMS in long term.
