Simplification of grating-assisted SPR Fiber Optic Sensors with single-sided gold coatings

Abstract

A near-infrared SPR signature with 4 nm line-width and 70% attenuation is obtained in a TFBG with thin gold coatings oriented relative to the tilt plane, thus facilitating the fabrication of high sensitivity fiber-SPR sensors.
