Terahertz Multiparameter Sensors Based on Frequency Selective Surfaces Interrogated with Subwavelength Fibers

Abstract

We propose using metasurfaces as sensors for simultaneous measurement of several optical properties of thick films. For paper sheets, simulations show detection resolution of 10 µm to changes in thickness and 0.13% to changes in the water content.
