Abstract

We report on high-Q conical microresonators made of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) towards biosensing applications. Simulations of the ‘whispering gallery’ modes (WGMs) of the cavities are performed with the Discontinuous Galerkin Time-Domain (DGTD) method.
