Understanding and predicting the orientation of heteroleptic and homoleptic phosphors in organic light-emitting materials

Abstract

Non-isotropic transition dipole orientation can enhance the efficiency of organic light-emitting diodes. Therefore, we analyzed the underlying mechanism by combining the use of different deposition techniques as well as iridium-complexes with special physical properties.
