Optimal Channelized Quadratic Observers for Binary Classification Tasks

Abstract

A new method is presented for computing optimized channels for channelized quadratic observers utilizing high-dimensional image data. Gaussian statistics are assumed for the image data, but the method is applicable in more general situations.
