Modeling of sparse aperture telescope image quality

Abstract

Sparse aperture imaging systems are mathematically modeled so that high fidelity image simulations can be produced. These simulations are used to better understand the image quality issues, such as low MTF and noise amplification, with sparse aperture systems.
