Wavelength Swapping Scheme to Eliminate Reflected Light in Bidirectional WDM-PON

Abstract

This paper proposes a novel wavelength swapping technique to eliminate the reflection lights and improves link budget when employing a single wavelength bidirectional WDM-PON. We report more than 10-dB improvement of the link budget.
