Modulation Format Independent joint Polarization Demultiplexing and IQ Imbalance Compensation

Abstract

We propose a new joint Tx-IQ imbalance compensation and polarization de-multiplexing algorithm for arbitrary M-QAM coherent systems. Evaluated metrics demonstrate its effectiveness as a blind approach compared to cascaded CMA and BASS algorithms. © 2019 The Author(s)
