GHz-speed Tracking of the Frequency Spectrum of Complex Continuous Waveforms through Photonic Analog Processing

Abstract

We demonstrate real-time dynamic Fourier analysis of complex GHz-bandwidth microwave waveforms, including multiple evolving frequency bands, by mapping the full spectrogram along the time domain using a simple photonic sampling and dispersion scheme.
