Joint recovery scheme of polarization and carrier based on adaptive Kalman filter

Abstract

We propose an adaptive Kalman filter for tracking polarization, carrier frequency offset and laser phase jointly. The scheme has the advantages of adaptive Q configuration and better recovery performance compared with conventional schemes.
